Megumi, Urd, and Skuld came running out the front door as they heard the disturbing 
shrieks of agony. Megumi was the first to notice. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped 
in horror. "Oh my God!!! Urd Look!" Megumi shrieked. Urd looked at her face as she spoke 
and got a sudden chill as the words registered in her brain. Megumi ran out into the yard. 
Urd stood there blankly knowing she should ran out there also. She tried to move her legs 
but they wouldn't budge as if an imaginary glue was holding her to the ground. Skuld 
grabbed her arm and tugged. Finally Urd stumbled forward off the porch. They ran up to 
them and stopped. Belldandy had an unchanging expression on her face as she looked down 
at her beloved Keichi. Urd knelt down beside Belldandy "What happened?" she whispered 
softly trying not to stir up any emotion. "I,I don't know." Belldandy managed to choke 
out. Belldandy slowly told them the whole story. Everything was racing through her mind. 
It replayed through her head like an undying record. Her eyes began to fill with tears, 
as questions stabbed at her heart. What went wrong, how did this happen? She looked down 
at Keichi. Everything was a blur she could not even make out the creases in his face. She 
began to cry. She could feel her whole body pulsing, her shoulders were shaking. Her heart 
beat rang through her body like church bells on an early Sunday morning. Skuld crouched 
down next to her. Belldandy looked her in the eyes. Skuld gave her a cold stare that 
followed with an angry expression. She turned her head and looked at Keichi. "Stupid, 
stupid, stupid, look what you have done now!" she screamed as she looked at his unchanging 
body. Urd, who was standing behind her, took the backside of her hand and hit her across 
the back of her head. "What do you think you are doing!" Urd yelled back at her. "Ouch, 
that hurt! Just let me finish!" Skuld barked back. "It could have been to much for him 
to crawl from there to here, you know his body could not of handled it." Skuld checked 
his pulse. Still there was nothing. Belldandy buried her face into her hands. "What did 
he do to deserve this." she pouted into her hands. Megumi lifted up his head and rested 
it in her lap. His head gently fell to the side. His hair gently fell across his face as 
a soft wind blew across them. "We need to get him inside." Megumi responded. "There is 
nothing we can do, he is dead!" Skuld exclaimed as she looked Megumi in the eyes. Her 
eyes squinted, her nose crinkled, and her lips tightened. "Am I the only one who seems 
to realize that." Megumi looked up at Urd seeking help. "Uh-uh don't look at me, I can't 
do a thing!" Urd responded as images flashed into her mind from previous times she tried 
to help. Megumi looked back down. For some reason she couldn't stop staring at his face. 
For some reason he drew her attention more than normal, something wasn't right, he didn't 
look normal. He couldn't of died, just like that. She questioned herself. She glanced at 
Belldandy. Belldandy looked okay but you could tell she was tearing up on the inside, 
dying as the pain and stress ripped threw her. All of a sudden Belldandy jerked up 
catching all of their attention. She was staring at the ground with no expression, 
her eyes looked faded from all the crying which gave her face a blank look. 
"Bell are you okay?" Skuld asked softly as she leaned toward Belldandy's face trying 
to see where the stare would lead to. "L...O...O...K" Belldandy gasped. They all looked at 
the ground to which her finger pointed. "I don't see anything?" Megumi said. Urd walked 
behind Belldandy following her stare till she saw something sparkle it the blades of 
grass. It was a small gem laying next to Keichi's hand. "Oh, I see" Urd said as she 
gawked at the eye catching color. It was a color she had never seen before. It was so 
ugly, but yet beautiful all at the same time. The others soon saw it too. "What do you 
think it is?" Megumi asked a little confused herself. "I,I am not sure." Urd said. 
Skuld reached over them and grabbed the gem. She jumped to her feet and ran to the house. 
"Well I don't know about you all," Megumi piped up "But we should get him inside and then 
see what Skuld is up too." "Yes we should" Belldandy said as she stood up. "Here we go 
again" Urd muttered under her breath as she looked down at Keichi. "With the power 
invested in me! Raise his weary soul and rest it upon his bed!" Belldandy said as she 
closed her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. Her hair began to fly up. Her dress 
raised to about midthigh, objects around them began to slowly raise up and circle around 
them. Belldandy raised her head but with her eyes still shut tight. She then thrust her 
arms up in the air, stretching them until the tips of her fingers hurt. Keichi began to 
rise off the ground. He then disappeared into thin air. Exhausted Belldandy fell to the 
ground. ~Inside the living room~ Skuld ran to her computer and plopped down Indian style. 
She stared at the blank computer screen. "Ahhh I was so close" she whined as she recalled 
the earlier scene. She looked up as she sighed. She slightly tilted her head when all of 
a sudden she saw a quick flash of white light. She opened her eyes wider. There it went 
again. That time she caught a short glimpse of the creature. She jumped to her feet with 
the gem still in her hand. "Come out now, I see you, you little rodent!" She yelled looking 
up at the ceiling. She tried to make her expression look like she new where it was but she 
actually had no idea. The creature appeared and fell toward the ground slowly. Her mouth 
dropped in astonishment "A BUG!!! I KNEW IT!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. The 
bug looked up at Skuld. She jumped back and put her hand to her mouth as if preparing to 
scream. The half spider, half bunny creature jumped back too. "Haha, think I am scared of 
you, you little twerp, so you are the cause of all this trouble! Puny weakling I could 
beat you down in a second flat!" She yelled as she reached back and grabbed her extending 
bug smasher. She leaned towards it and swung the hammer towards the ground. ~Squish~ "Yes 
got him, haha!" she yelled as she laughed at her defeat. She lowered her bug squisher and 
put it behind her back. She wiped her hands together and stuck her nose high up in the air 
in the most snobbish way. She looked at the ground beneath her. It began to shake. Not 
very noticeable at first but they grew heavier. "What the...? AHHHH!" She screamed a blood 
curtailing scream. A gigantic bug crashed through the floor. It must have been three times 
her size. The white fluffy bug looked down at her and laughed as an evil grin spread 
across it's face. Her hand covered her mouth as she tried to scream but yet only a tiny 
croak creeped out. She was to scared to speak or even move. Her eyes quickly filled of 
horror. "No...no it can't be" she cried to herself. The creature spoke with a loud voice 
"You know to much, I can not let our secret get around." "Please, please don't. I am 
sorry..." Skuld cried out. Those were the last words she managed to choke out before the 
bug like creature jumped toward her.
